Job Description Role - Backend Software Engineer Senior Experience - 9-12 Years Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer who can be hands on implementing things but also can provide technical leadership and decisions making locally Key Responsibilities Providing technical leadership and coordination for the team in India Design and implement backend services and enhancements Investigate and resolve production issues using logs and monitoring tools Validate fixes in lower environments before production rollout Create and maintain unit and integration test cases Drive security remediation CVE fixes and dependency upgrades Participate in code reviews and improve engineering standards Support platform stability reliability and performance initiatives Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance Must have Scala Akka Java Experience in functional programming Experience working with distributed systems Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills Production support experience logs monitoring incident investigation Unit testing and integration testing Security fixes CVE remediation and dependency library upgrades Code reviews and mentoring junior engineers Mentoring and leadership experience Nice to Have Skills AWS EKS Lambda Glue MSK Kubernetes and CI CD pipelines Observability tools Datadog CI CD and infrastructure automation experience Gitlab CI preferred Flink Python Experience in Infrastructure as Code Argo CD Terraform Atlantis What We Look For Able to challenge technical decisions with data and reasoning Strong ownership mindset Comfortable working independently on complex problems Focus on delivering secure maintainable and reliable solutions Proactively start initiatives to improve the existing system with focus on stabiliity and reliability
