This position is needed to grow and retain high-value self-service accounts by engaging customers at the right moment, guiding product adoption, preventing churn, and helping customers reach scale across Twilio Communications, SendGrid, or Segment products.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>In this role, you’ll:</p> <ul> <li>Engage high-value self-service customers through programmatically assigned inbound and outbound leads.</li> <li>Identify growth opportunities by assessing product usage signals, customer needs, and readiness to scale.</li> <li>Guide customers through adoption of Twilio Communications, SendGrid, or Segment products to accelerate business outcomes.</li> <li>Retain priority accounts by proactively addressing risks, removing blockers, and supporting continued product value.</li> <li>Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and Product teams to improve sales plays and customer engagement strategies.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p> <p>Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!</p> <p><strong>Required:</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 1 year of sales development or business development experience at a technology company, or 2-3+ years of closing experience in another industry.</li> <li>Ability to qualify inbound and outbound opportunities, uncover customer needs, and guide customers toward relevant solutions.</li> <li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders.</li> <li>Comfort using data, product usage signals, and sales plays to prioritize outreach and identify growth or retention opportunities.</li> <li>Ability to manage a high-volume book of accounts, prioritize effectively, and follow through on customer commitments.</li> <li>Curiosity about cloud communications, customer engagement, email, data, or SaaS products.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desired:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience selling SaaS, cloud communications, email, customer data, or developer-focused products.</li> <li>Familiarity with product-led growth, self-service customer motions, or usage-based sales models.</li> <li>Ability to interpret customer usage
