Laravel Developer (PHP / Full-Stack)

About UsANFASSC (Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club) is a dynamic organization dedicated to supporting Nigerian sports. Our digital platform serves as a comprehensive corporate portal featuring member management, event coordination, e-commerce, and community engagement tools. We are looking for a skilled Laravel Developer to join our team to maintain, scale, and build upon our robust web platform. Key Responsibilities • Platform Development & • Maintenance: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code using the Laravel framework for our portal, e-commerce store, and member management systems. • Database & • Member Management: Manage and optimize relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) to handle member records, transactions, and event registrations securely. • API & • Gateway Integration: Integrate third-party services, payment gateways (e.g., Flutterwave/Paystack), and external APIs seamlessly. • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to deliver feature-rich updates, secure authentication flows, and high-performance web solutions. • Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented code, perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal platform uptime and security. Requirements & • Qualifications • Experience: Proven professional experience as a Laravel Developer or PHP Software Engineer. • Core Skills: • Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework (including Eloquent ORM, migrations, and middleware). • Experience with frontend integration using Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, Livewire, or standard Blade templates. • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, payment integrations, and secure user authentication (Laravel Breeze/Jetstream experience is a plus). • Proficiency in database design, management, and query optimization (MySQL/PostgreSQL). • Tools: Familiarity with Git version control, Composer, and deployment environments. • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
