About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with a background in Bioinformatics to join their growing team in Kaduna . This role is instrumental in extracting meaningful insights from complex biological datasets to support research and development efforts. You will be responsible for data cleaning, transformation, statistical analysis, and visualization to uncover trends and patterns. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a solid understanding of biological concepts. You will work within a collaborative environment, contributing to data-driven decision-making that advances scientific discovery. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive data analysis on large biological datasets, including omics data (genomics, transcriptomics). Develop and implement data cleaning, transformation, and quality control procedures. Utilize statistical methods and machine learning techniques to identify significant findings and trends. Create clear and informative data visualizations and reports for scientific and management teams. Collaborate with researchers to understand data requirements and provide analytical support. Maintain and document data analysis workflows and methodologies. Requirements Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Bioinformatician. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and visualization. Experience with SQL and database management. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and experimental design. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
