Sr. Frontend Developer, Hybrid

As a Sr. Frontend Developer, he/she is expected to perform the following duties; • Translates all assigned visual mockups into working HTML prototypes • Builds prototype user interfaces that meet the project quality standards and requirements • Finds and addresses performance issues before the release of the finished product to the backend team • Reviews the code committed and pushed by junior developers to the Version Control • Ensures that all assigned modules/features are finished according to the agreed scope estimates • Ensures that all assigned modules/features for a specific Sprint should not be carried over to the next Sprint • Ensures that he/she is well-versed in the usage of required IDEs, tools and/or Front-end frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, Angular is a Must) • If developing website templates, he/she ensures that all proper SEO tags, schema, and other on-site technical SEO guidelines are implemented in the templates • Ensures developed prototypes comply with specifications • Ensures that the developed prototypes are compliant with the internal quality control standards • Designs, develops, and maintains advanced cross-platform web applications using Angular/React JS/PHP. • Leads technical decisions and contributes to web app architecture and best practices. • Writes clean, scalable, and maintainable code while mentoring other developers. • Collaborates with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences. • Optimizes app performance, troubleshoots complex issues, and implements improvements. • Integrates RESTful APIs, third-party services, and native modules. • Reviews code, improves development processes, and ensures engineering quality. • Ensures that he/she is well-versed in the usage of required IDEs, tools, and/or front-end frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, Vanilla JavaScript) • Ensures that the developed modules/features are compliant with the internal quality control standards • Uses AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or Claude AI ) to generate scaffolding, write test cases, debug, and accelerate the development lifecycle • Works with AI development tools to streamline front-end workflows (e.g., leveraging AI-assisted coding tools for debugging) • Reports to the IT Tech Lead and to the IT Project Delivery Manager Minimum Qualifications • Must be at least a graduate of BS Computer Science, BS Information Technology, and/or other related courses. • At least 6 years of proven experience in Front-end Web Development. • Highly proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3 • Strong proficiency in server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS • Deep understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery • Advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, ReactJS, and BackboneJS. • Proficient understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX • Deep knowledge of image authoring tools to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. • Familiarity with tools such as Figma or Photoshop is a plus. • Deep understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. • Deep understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. • Proficient understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that websites will adhere to them. • Proven ability to mentor developers and drive technical initiatives • Strong analytical and planning skills; • Good communication and presentation skills; • Excellent problem-solving skills;
