Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Software Developer to join our Technology team. The successful candidate will work across both backend and frontend technologies, building scalable applications, APIs, integrations, and user interfaces while maintaining high standards of code quality, security, performance and reliability. Role Responsibilities The successful candidate will: • Develop and maintain full-stack applications across backend and frontend environments. • Build and integrate APIs and services to support internal and external applications. • Design and optimise database structures, queries, and caching solutions. • Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces. • Troubleshoot and resolve application, performance, and production issues. • Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, testing, and documentation. • Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to deliver features from requirements through production. • Use modern development tools, including AI-assisted development tools, responsibly to improve development efficiency while maintaining engineering standards. • Ensure software solutions meet required standards for security, scalability, maintainability, and performance. • Work with version control and collaborative development workflows. • Minimum of 3 years of professional full-stack software development experience. • Strong experience with PHP and Laravel. • Solid experience building applications with React. • Experience with Node.js/TypeScript and API development. • Strong knowledge of MySQL, including database design, indexing, and query optimisation. • Practical experience with Redis and caching strategies. • Proficiency with Git, branching, pull requests, and code review workflows. • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. • Ability to take ownership of features from development through to deployment. • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools, with the ability to review and validate AI-generated code effectively. • Good understanding of software development best practices, testing, security, and maintainable code. Desirable Skills • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices. • Experience with event-driven architectures or message queues. • Exposure to developing or integrating AI-powered applications. • Knowledge of data protection principles such as NDPA or GDPR. • Experience working on enterprise, HR-tech, assessment, or B2B technology platforms.
