About the Role
Your missionAs a Quantitative Backend Developer (f/m/d), you will build analytics APIs and backend services for our Analytics products. You will combine quantitative methods with modern software engineering and ensure that analytical solutions are scalable, high-performing, and production-ready. Your Tasks:Analytics Engineering & ImplementationDesign, develop, and enhance analytics APIs and backend services for our Analytics productsTransform quantitative models, research outcomes, and prototypes into production-ready Python codeFurther develop our analytics production and data processing environmentBuild robust and scalable software components for analytical calculationsCollaborate closely with Quantitative Specialists to operationalize new models and methodologiesData Management & System IntegrationDevelop and maintain interfaces to databases, internal platforms, and downstream systemsProcess, transform, and make financial, fund, and portfolio data availableAnalyze and optimize data flows and analytics processesEnsure reliable, efficient, and scalable execution of analytical calculationsOperations & Quality AssuranceEnsure the ongoing quality assurance of quantitative model outputs for internal and external stakeholdersSupport the onboarding of new clients in relation to our analytics products and modelsAnalyze and resolve complex technical issues in production environmentsCreate and maintain technical documentationCollaboration & CommunicationCollaborate with Quantitative Specialists, Product Managers, Engineering, and Operations teamsTranslate business and quantitative requirements into technical solutionsContribute to architectural decisions and technical conceptsEvaluate and integrate new technologies and development approachesYour profileHow You WorkYou enjoy building robust technical solutions for complex analytical challengesYou think in terms of data flows, interfaces, and interconnected systemsYou value maintainable and high-quality codeYou are curious about agentic development or already have initial experience integrating AI-supported development approaches into software development processesYou work in a structured, independent, and pragmatic way
