Senior Application Developer

About the Role We are looking for a Senior Application Developer to design, develop, and deliver business applications and integrations for mid-market and enterprise customers. This is a hands-on role combining application development, APIs, Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and DevOps. We are prioritising strong software development and problem-solving skills. Power Platform experience is an advantage, but strong application development experience is more important. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable business applications and solutions. • Work with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and business challenges. • Build and integrate REST APIs and external systems. • Develop applications using technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, .NET/C#, HTML, and CSS. • Work with Azure, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform. • Develop solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse where required. • Integrate solutions with SharePoint Online, Teams, and other Microsoft services. • Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues. • Participate in technical design, code reviews, testing, and deployment. • Work with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines. • Create technical documentation and solution designs. • Work independently and collaborate with customers and development teams. • Provide technical guidance and support to other developers when required. Requirements • 5+ years of professional software/application development experience. • Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, .NET/C#, or similar technologies. • Experience developing and integrating REST APIs. • Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms. • Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. • Experience with Git and CI/CD. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Good communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions. Nice to Have Experience with: • Power Apps • Power Automate • Dataverse • Power Platform Administration • Microsoft 365 • SharePoint Online • Microsoft Teams • Microsoft Graph API • Copilot Studio • Azure DevOps • GitHub Actions • React, Angular, or Node.js Power Platform experience is not mandatory. We are also interested in strong senior developers who are willing to learn and develop their expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem.
